I actually stumbled upon the ayahuasa ceremony when I wanted to find a retreat to go to during the break. The ayahuasa ceremony captured my attention a great deal. As I was considering, my friend Josephine made a decision to go for the ayahuasa retreat. We did not read much about the ceremony and had no expectation. The ayahuasa experience was truly mind blowing as I never would have had such an experience if I had not chosen to go through the process. The ceremony was conducted in a very safe and secure environment. It was conducted with so much of love, grace and understanding. The singing was so beautiful that I am still mesmerized with such soothing icaros. The personal attention and love showered by the Sapan Inka Project is truly awesome. I have been shown a path through the experience as well as an humbling experience. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for having me come away with affirmations and positive thoughts. The reason I chose to experience ceremony with Sapan Inka was their awareness of the shifts in humanity and their profound approach to bridging indigenous and modern belief systems. At first I simply wanted to experience the plant medicine in it's homeland with shamans who could translate the experience clearly. I came away with much more - a better understanding of my body and mind, a deeper understanding of the medicine, and a friendship with the healers. I really appreciate how they limit their ceremonies to small groups. The intimate space created a safe container, and was guided very graciously with beautiful icaros and personal attention. What I enjoyed most were the moments of laughter and the comfort and energy of the retreat house! I carry so much appreciation for the experience and the bond that was created, that I plan to continue any future medicine work in Peru with the Sapan Inka healers. I recommend them with all of my heart.

The Sapan Inka healers that I was blessed to work with are beautiful inside out, educated, authentic Andean ayhausceros of Peru. They complete each other perfectly. They take their work very seriously, maintain a special diet and clean their spiritual space before, during and after the plant ceremonies. Their work is about healing, love, balance and equanimity using teacher plants: Mother Ayahuasca (female) and Grandfather San Pedro (male). It is a blessing indeed to work with such genuine powerful healers that fulfill their responsibilities required on this planet at this time. ~ Lilly - yoga teacher/energy healer

I was lucky enough to be invited by The Sapan Inka Project to attend the first retreat that included trips to Muchu Pichu and local temples in the Sacred Valley. I experienced an opportunity to change my connection to the world and to my life. The healer's peaceful and loving way of being was so cool to be around. The ceremonies that I participated in were transformational in terms of my life giving me great guidance and insight to my spiritual path and opening me up to changes in my physical life enabling me to reconnect to it in a positive empowered way and be more present to it's process. Their skill in the practice of the ceremonies and the ability they used to guide me through my journey was beyond what I thought possible. I feel extremely lucky to be able to experience this journey with the others that I meet when I attended the retreat. They also made the experience a far reaching process through the opening of their own hearts and I equate this with the skill Healers have in seeing beyond the surface and into the people who attend. I sincerly thank The Sapan Inka Project for all that they have done and made available to me and for their continued support since this experience. They will always be in my heart.

My experience in Peru is something that I will forever be grateful for. Being in such a sacred land, surrounded by caring and wise people such as Sapan Inka team, was a profound gift. I was initially skeptical traveling by myself to meet with strangers. I emailed others that had made the trip and received overwhelmingly positive responses. I felt very drawn to Cusco and to ayahuasca, so I put my doubts aside and opened my heart. I went through two ayahuasca ceremonies and one San Pedro ceremony. The use of these teacher plants under the guidance and care of people of Sapan Inka project is hard to describe in words. I felt as if I was participating in a very ancient ceremony, and I was so grateful to be a part of it. My experience with the plants was more subtle, for example I didn't have any intense visions. Yet, the experience was no less profound. With these plants, I was able to confront the past, be grateful for the present moment, and beginning a healing process for the future so that none of my potential would be lost. Specially during the second ceremony, I felt overwhelming gratitude and peace. I will always hold people of the Sapan Inka project, the plants, and Peru very near to my heart. I hope to return to Cusco one day!

I have been fortunate enough to have many incredible experiences in life. I have an amazing family with two beautiful children, I have traveled all over the world. I have started and run a successful business. I am surrounded by beauty and abundance. However nothing compares with the time I have spent with the Sapan Inka Project. ... With their loving guidance and penetrating insight they use the sacred medicine (ayahuasca) to teach me about life, love, and myself. To be true to ourselves we must know ourselves first. My life is infinitely better, richer and happier thanks to this experience. I can not recommend this experience strongly enough to a true seeker. It is work. It is honestly and unsparingly looking at yourself. It is about cleaning house mentally and spiritually and moving on to joyously co create with the universe. Meeting and knowing these persons has been one of the great blessings of my life. Art Designer

"... Around 8pm we all gathered in one of the bungalows to begin the ceremony. It was here that I was to take my 3rd Ayahuasca drink, and let the Mother guide me through the maze of myself into the majesty of the One Consciousness beyond time and space. I was feeling some apprehension, but the ceremony brought me peace with the lighting of the wood and smoke, and the singing of the prayers and chants. We passed around the cup and each took our turn drinking the Ayahuasca plant mixture. After a period of time as we lay in the darkness, as serene comfort overcame me. I was breathing in harmony with the healers and my friend Daniel. I could feel them breathing me, as I was breathing them. We were one. The Icaros that Erik and Nilda were singing took me into a realm of being that I could never comprehend, and can at this time barely communicate with any effectiveness. I was rocketed through a portal of a dimension that was so unknown, yet so familiar that I was unable to fathom the depths at which this could impact me and the life I lived. I was in the hands of something that was vast and warranted full trust to continue to allow to take me where ever it was that I was going. During the ceremony, I had many visions and would come in and out of waking consciousness during the singing of the Icaros, only to be brought yet deeper into another vision. The majesty behind each vision was more startling than the previous. The colour's, and deepening perspective only took me further into myself and through myself. There was a moment where we all purged simultaneously in complete and utter unison. Again, I was amazed at the harmonious expression of unity we were experiencing. All very effortless, I might add..." "... We concluded the night by laying outside under a canopy of stars in the Blessed Sacred Valley, while the lingering effects and dwindling visions of Ayahuasca played host to a symphony of stars that touched from one end of the horizon to the other. I was home. The morning soon came and I had spent almost the entire night just basking in the unity and commonality of what had just occurred. The Sacred Valley coupled with the Healing power of the Mother Plant Ayahuasca, with the ceremonial Maestro leading us ever deeper into ourselves only proved that there was a Power that is greater than me, but this time, that power was found to be inside of me..." .

"...In the ceremony, the first night was magnificent and wonderful but it was the second journey where the learning came. To briefly repeat the experience, I went to a very difficult place of "no exit" and despair and isolation, my body felt horrible and it was easy to beat myself up for putting myself into this situation ( a 65 year old man who should know better!!!!)allowing myself to become so reduced - shame! The words and advice of the healer, helped me gradually work my way through this - prayer, breathing and time. Then I found my heart with my hand and could enjoy the warmth and connection with myself. Then I communed with my father, finding the child's voice -calling him Dad - thanking him and loving him and receiving his love, and it occurs to me that this was a healing thing to do, as if I was fully getting the recognition and love and support that all boys need from their father. To truly get this is to be well established in the world as a man, so perhaps this was a revisiting and healing interlude with him. Then I found myself visiting with men I have recently worked with and blessing and loving them - as if the love I got from my father ( in this communion) could be now passed on to others. So I progressed from the isolation and despair and shame of where I began to then find healing for myself and to then reach out and pass it on to to others. By the time this had happened I was in a much more divine place, could come out from under the blankets, and could eventually stand up, feel my body and do some gentle yoga..."

We wanted to thank to the Sapan Inka Project for a really amazing Ayahuasca Ceremony. It's been a good few months since we saw them and yet we feel the benefits and self knowledge still growing within us. As they told us, it really is a "Teacher Plant". It was a great experience on many levels. They performed the ceremonies with great authority, sensitivity and love and as a bonus we became good friends! In what could have been a very strange and frightening experience we both felt perfectly safe and confident in their experienced hands. With the healer performing his Shamanic rituals and his wife channelling for us as we saw visions it was a memorable and wonderful three days.

...I was privileged to meet to the members of the Sapan Inka Project and partake of an Ayahuasca ceremony with them. Words cannot convey the depth and wonder of the blessings I received with this incredible initiation into Ayahuasca. The room was made beautiful with Indian weavings. The music, singing and prayers were incredible I felt that these healers are here to help humanity as we step forward into the next level of human experience. It is an evolutionary step and one that needs to be made by as many as feel called to it. The great work is before us and it is wonderful that these people are here to accompany us on the journey. I am so glad I had this experience and wish many others the blessings of also experiencing it. The more of us that are healed and open to the mystery of life the better for all. I highly recommend to the Sapan Inka Project!!! with much love.

"...I was meandering through the city of Cuzco, a marvel in of itself and one of my favorite places on earth, when I decided to stop in an small rustic and quiet cafe. Till this day I feel it is one of the best moves I had ever made or will make. We all struck up a conversation over a hot maca based drink. we spoke of Egyptian and Inca philosophy and cosmology and there striking similarities. I remember being so comfortable in there presence and still find myself struck by the almost immediate love connection we all had for each other. I knew that I was truly among my people, loved ones whom I could feel safe around and whom I would die for. The next day we were in the mountains undergoing a San Pedro ritual in which I was adopted by the plant and remain till this day a child of San Pedro, who even now 4 years later is revealing things to me about myself. ...this past summer that is 08' I returned to the welcome arms and open heart of my brother and sister from the Sapan Inka project, and fortunately was able to spend more time with them. The more I learn of these two and there ways the more I love them. They introduced me to our ancient brother ayahuasca, which was a very intense meeting indeed, but one which I will likely never forget. through my experience they sang songs in Qechua. they were beautiful and comforting songs and although I did not understand the words the meaning was somehow conveyed. I have met many spiritual and pseudo-spiritual types in my life and most of the time found myself turned off. but none have I encountedred more humble, genuine and beautifully human as these two whom I have come to love and call brother and sister. We are fortunate to have these two people amongst us..."

"The healers have developed a connection like I
have never experienced before. The power of their
thought and of their song and of their love was
moving. My first experience with the work they are
doing left an impact on my psyche that will last into
eternity. I have been working on issues both emotional
and physical for a long time. The time spent with
these two healers moved me along on my process beyond
what I have achieved in 2 years of yoga. I have now
developed a friendship/healing relationship with these
beautiful people and hope that we have began a
lifetime of working together, for ourselves and for
 the planet."

I have been blessed to have worked with several ayhausceros and have had some profound experiences. what i love about their work that truly elevates may connections to their work is your harmonized connection to their work. The two healers are truly committed to living the highest ethical code of the incas from their hearts. this translates beautifully in their icaros, their attentiveness to the clients in the room, as well as the depth of the journeys and experiences that i have had with them. The depth and balance of their ceremonies is why i can solely recommend you to work with my dearest friends and students. (Yoga Teacher)
